Son Of Sobek: A Book Review and Rant

The SON of SOBEK

Who doesn't love crossovers? Especially when it is about two people whom you love stalking (ehem, I mean reading)?

The short story opens up to a totally different story line and leaves you wondering when did this really happen ( during the HoO or LT) and when will they meet up again (I really hope soon -- like during the House of Hades). Okay, maybe, I like having these expectations that may be to far-fetched but who cares? I am just the reader not the author. Well, Rick Riordan (obviously doing his job very well) always makes bridge stories between different people having different aspects. I never knew he could make things like this happen. The Son of Sobek is a good refresher book when reading the Kane Chronicles and The Percy Jackson series because it makes you wonder about the difference between two stories. Although, both stories focuses on Gods and what nots, it is still quite mind boggling that two different stories meet up in the middle.  Between the Gods, I wonder what will really happen when Greek Gods and Egyptian Gods meet. All I know is that both sides hate each other.

Well done, Rick. You always find ways to make our hands itch for the books that will be released (like House of Hades). Oh, this is really a MUST READ book. All bookworms, unite and join me. Reading may take time and effort but it really is worth it especially when your reading a book that is well plotted.

It never hurts to try and read, Now, go now. Don't chill and relax anymore, Stand up and grab your copy of the short story or you may want to start reading both series ( Kane Chronicles and The Percy Jackson Series ). Tata.
